If you open the door and hold the metal drum at the front at the bottom can you lift it up and down?

Ok if you can lift the drum up and down then what you will find is the problem is the drum bearings. This will be the reason the belt has flipped off.
So to repair this the drum will need to be taken out and split and the bearings replaced.
Now this is a major strip down and is quite a long job.
So theres no point in replaceing the belt untill the bearings has been replaced as it will do the same stright away.
