Also have you tried unplugging the washer from the socket and leave for 10 minutes to see if the door will release.

Ok sounds like the door handle has broken. If switching off at the mains and leaveing for a while hasnt opened it then the handle has proberly broken.
Now theres 2 ways of getting into this.
1 way is to get a length of string and feed this into the door recces at the top and then feed 1 end around the door handle and around the bottom of the door till both ends of the string are opposite the door handle.
Then pull the string to the left and at the same time pull on the door and hopefully it will open.
If this doesnt work then you will need to pull washer out and take off the top. From there look down the front of the washer on the right hand side.
From there you will see the door lock. Pokeing through this will be the metal door pin.
Reach down into there and push the metal door pin to the left and at the same time pull on the door and this will open it.
Once the door is open you can then strip down the door and replace the door handle from there. But make a note of how the door handle goes first.
