Question Summary
Hi, My washing machine Jetstream 1600, WLD1667 W. Starts a wash cycle for 2 or 3 minutes and then the timer jumps from 1.48 to 3 mins and emptys without washing, rinsing or spinning. Ive unplugged the machine for a few minutes but it still has the same problem.Answer Summary
Lets see if theres an error code stored in there. So take the control board off on the side and you will proberly see it. So the water burns the pump out which then blows the control board and causes this problem.

Ok thanks for that E85 is a circulation pump error.
The chances are the control board will have blown on here in the top left corner. So take the control board off on the side and you will proberly see it.
But what cauese this is there is a hose which goes from the dryer condenser to the drum and this leaks. But under there is the circulation pump. So the water burns the pump out which then blows the control board and causes this problem.
To be honest this isnt worth the repair as a new control board is about £120 plus the new recirculation pump is about £40. So as the washer is 10 years old its probery not worth the repair im afraid.
