Ok the ligths you have flashing is a heating error.
That will be why its not completeing a wash cycle but will do a rinse and spin.
What you need to do is pull the washer out and take the back cover off.
From there you will see the heater in the bottom of the drum.
To test this you will need a multimeter.
Test the heater it should read about 28 ohms.
If the heater is fine then its proberly going to be a faulty control board. Take the board off at the back and check to see if theres a burn mark or dry joint on there which you can resolder.
If not and the heater and wiring are fine then its proberly going to be a faulty control board here.

Ok what you need to do is with the nut off push the theared part of the bolt into the heater.
Then you should be able to prise the heater out easy from there and replace it.
