Resolved Question:

We have a Whirlpool by IKEA dishwasher (DWH B10 W). About a minute or so starting its cycle, it starts beeping, a few seconds after that the cycle stops, and the beeping continues until the appliance is turned off at the socket. The beeps are evenly spaced and continuous.

When the appliance is turned back on, the 'wash' symbol on the left side of the indicators is lit and the light next to the start button flashes. It is possible to reset by holding down the wash button, and then to re-start the cycle, but after a minute or so the problem recurs.

Many thanks.

Ok when it does this the start light will flash a number of times then pause and flash again.

Count the number of flashes from it inbetween the pause and let me know.

Ok 11 flashes is a water indecator problem.

If you take the filters out from inside the dishwasher and look inside the sump.

On the right hand side you will see a black grid. This is the water indecator.

What you need to do is pore some boiling water in there and then carefully with an old tooth brush give this a scrub. But not to hard as you may damage the membrain in there.

Then retry the dishwasher and see what happens from there.

If still the same then you need to take the outer door panel off and check the wiring as it goes down the door.

If this is fine then its possible the water indecator itself is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Or if thats ok then the control board may be the problem here.
