I can't believe that it is not anywhere in SA
I can't believe that it is not anywhere in AU!!!!
Is it a common problem or could it be the whole drum has had it
Have you taken it apart totally to see the drum? Also how old is the washer?
seven years and no the belt came off and wouldn't stay on . I looked down and turned slowly and it see to be twisted ..Not sure how as its aluminium
I think it may just be worn and not running in line .it was getting really noisy
Yes, this can happen if the drum and bearing are worn it starts to get noisy. You may have a bigger problem than just the drum pully.
It sounds like the bearing seized.
It may not be worth the repair of the drum bearing and seal. This is a big job.
I think you may be right. New washer?
If you decide to replace the unit, you want to go for a local machine with local parts availability.
Fisher paykel is an AU machine.
Are they expensive down under?
They are good units.
Thats a bit of a no brainer. On the high side. But i have FP fridge and it is excellent
The belt can not bend the pulley that drum bearing must be gone. Then it can bend the pulley.
Yes we all know they make an excellent product and I tell my customers they are well worth it!!!
