Hello,
Thank you for using JustAnswer!
If you have any questions after reading my answer,be sure to let me know.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. Deep scratches can not be removed but very minor and superficial scratches can some times be polished out.

Generally speaking, scratches can not be removed from the stainless steel unless they are superficial scratches. Superficial scratches could possibly be polished out using a fine abrasive cleaner like Bar Keepers Friend.

Since I do not know exactly what type finish and grade of stainless steel is used, try a small inconspicuous area with Bar Keepers Friend first before trying on a visible area. Be sure to rub along with the grain and not against.

I have looked up Bar Keepers Friend made by Lakeland and it seems to be a cleaner rather than scratch remover - do you have information it could work on scratches?
Expert:  NeilWill replied 6 years ago.
I believe the bar keepers friend is a cleaner with a mild abrasive compound incorporated in the mixture which smooths the edges of the scratch so the the light is not reflected off the edge,. Which makes the scratch harder to see.
This is exactly what auto rubbing compounds do that take out scratches on car paint jobs.
