Hi, i have a AEG...

Hi, i have a AEG ELECTROLUX FAVORIT F65070VI dishwasher.On the display panel when its turned on a light on the left side of the minute diplay keeps flashing. The dishwasher seems to be workng but no water is going into the machine even though the water is working and the filter is clear.
Can you help please

yes it pumps the water straight out and the number on the display is the number of minutes it is programed for

Hiya,

OK, thanks for that.

i30 is the error code to indicate the anti flood device in the base of the appliance has been activated. Either a leak or a spillage of water are the likely causes.

Unplug the appliance.

Take the panel below the door off.

(Easier if you take the decor door off of the machine).

Once off, remove any water in the base.

Locate the anti flood device (it's the only thing fitted to the base).

Ensure the float is down and the switch isn't being activated.

Once done, try the machine again.

Check to see if it's leaking.

If no leak, it's likely been an overfoam inside the appliance that spilled into the base.

Check it out, see what you find.

the machine works and sounds as it always does except thers is no water going into it.

Sometimes the alarm sounds off on it too.

Hiya,

Sorry, that's not really a description of what the machine does.

When you cancel and select a new programme, the first thing that happens is the drain pump runs.

Does this happen?

Does the machine do anything else before the code comes up?

Is the machine full or empty of water?

What happened prior to the i30 fault code appearing.

no it does'nt do anything else before the code comes up.

the machine is empty.

prior to the code coming up it was working fine

Hiya,

OK, this suggests a fault with the pressure switch not resetting to empty.

Try filling the machine with water manually and then letting it drain.

If it still give the i20 code, you'll need to unplug the appliance and take it out of it's integrated position.

Take the side panels off and locate the pressure switch.

It has a thin tube attached to it.

Take this off, blow into the tube, back into the sump, as hard and as long as you can.

Refit it to the pressure switch.

Try the machine again.

yes that got it working. thank you very much

it worked for a small bit yesterday, but it is doing the same thing again.First it started tripping the M.C.B. board and now its working for three minutes and then the alarm sounds and i20 comes up on the panel, i blew in hose again to no avail.

Any more ideas?

Is the machine draining?

YES THE MACHINE IS DRAINING.

YESTERDAY THE RDC WAS TRIPPING.

An RCD tripping indicates an earth fault on the appliance.

If it no longer trips, I'd suspect water leaking onto something.

I'll opt out of your question now.

I can't advise further on an i20 fault than I already have done.
