Got a Siemens Aquastop SE65E330GB/74...

Got a Siemens Aquastop SE65E330GB/74 (other details are FD 8702 000182)

No water coming into dishwasher so got a plumber to look and he checked inlets and outlets with no issue. He has indicated it maybe stuck on a wash cycle and needs a reboot - Is this possible ?

No such thing as a reboot so you won't be getting an answer to tell you how to do that.

What exactly happens when you start a new programme?

Explain, in detail, the sequence your machine goes through.

Here is what the tennant has said - hope that helps.

Cannot initiate a new cycle/wash

'Stuck/frozen' and makes a dry gurgling sound all the time – appears to be stuck in midcycle but cannot tell which cycle this is (wash/drain/rinse/dry??) - so is impossible to start a new cycle/wash from scratch (cannot do a wash at all)
Gurgling/humming/loud buzzing sound starts when switched on – when door is both open and closed – will continue like this forever unless switched off
Dispenser dish does not open (probably because new cycle start does not kick in)
No water comes in - at all (again, probably because a new cycle cannot kick in)
Cannot set on a new cycle – none of the 70/65/50/35/ prerinse cycles – nothing happens when various buttons pressed – refuses to start any new cycle
Pressing the reset buttons does not help
Plumber said that water put directly into the machine with a cup (i.e not entering through inlet pipe) does clear successfully and goes into outlet/waste pipe
Plumber checked water inlets - said they appear to be OK
Initial thoughts were that it may have been a pump or valve - plumber reckons not, and concluding comment was that it appears to be stuck somewhere in a cycle
Spray arms checked – no blockages
Filter checked - cannot see blockages

Hiya,

The anti flood device in the base of the machine has been activated.

This causes the drain pump to run all the time, even when the door is opened..

Unplug the appliance.

Take the metal panel below the door off.

It's awkward to get off, easier with the decor door off.

Once off, remove the water from the base of the appliance.

Ensure the float goes down and the red lever assembly comes down.

Once reset, try the machine again and check for leaks.

If no leaks, it's been an overfoam that has led to a spillage into the base.
