Hi I have a Beko 2731 FW dishwasher that is not operating. I can set the programme say at rinse only and it makes a humming noise but does not fill up with water.Answer Summary
When it makes the humming noise feel the fill valve at the back were the fill hose screws to. If the water supply is fine and the hose isnt kinked then just take off the fill hose and aim it into a bucket and turn the water tap on and make sure the pressure is good. For this its a case of replacing the fill valve and see how it goes from there.

Ok pull the dishwasher out and set it going again. When it makes the humming noise feel the fill valve at the back were the fill hose screws to. Can you feel any vibration through it?
Also if you manually fill it up does the wash motor kick in then?

Ok the humming noise sounds like its the fill valve asking for water.
If the water supply is fine and the hose isnt kinked then just take off the fill hose and aim it into a bucket and turn the water tap on and make sure the pressure is good.
If thats all fine then it may be a faulty fill valve thats not letting any water in to start the wash. For this its a case of replacing the fill valve and see how it goes from there.
