Ok so when you set it going is the door locking?
Is the humming noise comming from the very bottom on the right hand side?
And is there any water in there?

Ok if its from there then it sounds like it may be a blocked filter.
Take the filter out and check it. At the back were the filter goes you will see the impeller of the pump X shape. Make sure this isnt jammed up. It should ping round in stages.
Once its clear refit the filter and retry the washer and see what happens from there.
