How do I fix my Daughter Kenwood Dishwasher KDW8ST2A with error

Customer Question

How do I fix my Daughter Kenwood Dishwasher KDW8ST2A with error code E4?
Tried reduced water pressure, or no water.
If water put via a bowl it pumps out.

Hi There

This fault code is related to the temperature sensor.
Either the sensor has gone, the element is not heating or the module is failing.
You should be able to test the sensor - NTC - with a multimeter. See if it still has resistance.
You can do the same for the heater element.

regards Tony

Where is the temperature sensor located?
Expert:  SparePartsPro replied 6 years ago.
If you look on the underside plugged into the side of the sump.
It is wired remotely from the main module on connector position 'RE'
