When the start/pause is flashing, count the flashes between pauses (if any) and let me know how many flashes.

OK, thanks for that.
The fault code indicates a fault in the motor circuit..
The manual states "Motor triac short circuited".
The triac is on the main board and is being detected as faulty.
This suggests you need a new main board.
The fault on the main board may have been caused by your motor so there is a possibility the motor may need replacing too.
Before committing to changing parts, I would suggest checking the carbon brushes in the motor.
If worn out or broken, replace them and try the machine again.
If they are ok, the cost of the board and/or motor is such that diy repair isn't really economical. The board is over £120 and the motor nearly £200 for this range of appliance.
I would suggest getting a quote for repair from www.repaircare.co.uk
Their price includes parts and labour (plus a warranty) and will likely be around the same or less than the cost of the board.
