Ok lets see if theres an error code stored in there.
To do this you need to turn the washer off.
Press and hold the start and reset buttons in together.
With them held in turn the washer on.
Keep the buttons held in till the leds start to scroll then let go.
Now press the fabrics button till the 40 deg led is lit up.
Now there should be an error code shown E??
Let me know the code.
Then turn the washer off then on then back off again.

Ok thanks for that. E52 is a motor problem.
What you need to do is take off the back half of the washer. There you will see the motor at the bottom. Take this off and make sure the wiring is all fine and not broken.
Then once the motor is off at the back you will see the carbon brushes. Take these out and check them. If they have worn down then they will need to be replaced. Then see how they go from there.
If the brushes are fine then its proberbly a faulty motor which is causeing the problem here.
