Hiya,Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?It's normally faintly etched across the top of the door. Did you hear a hum from the pump instead?First, check the drain hose where it connects to the house drains for a blockage. If there's no hum from the drain pump it would suggest a faulty pump, wiring or control.

OK, thanks for that.
Unfortunately this means you won't be able to test anything.
All you can do is check that there is no blockage in the pump.
If there isn't, you are then faced with having to fit parts on a "fit and see what happens" basis.
First, empty the machine as previous request.
The try running the appliance on a new programme, what exactly happens?
If it still fails the same way do the following.
To check the pump.
Unplug the appliance.
Empty the appliance.
Disconnect the hoses.
Pull the machine out (if it's integrated, it still has to come out).
Once out, put some towels behind it and lay the appliance onto it's back.
Take the panel on the bottom off, taking care to disconnect the parts attached to the base.
Take the pump out.
Clean out any debris you find.
Ensure the pump impellor turns.
Refit the pump.
Reassemble the appliance and try it again.
