Hiya,
E2 occurs when the water can't enter the machine quickly enough.
It causes back pressure and operates the overfill pressure switch.
Unplug the appliance and take the right side panel off (viewed from the front).
Check the large plastic tank on the side to see if it's blocked.
If it is, you'll need to strip it out and clean it out to get the machine working again.
Next in line would be the water softener unit / salt container.
Check to see if this is blocked (if you haven't been using salt it may be blocked).
Finally, check the hoses attached to the sump for a blockage.
Once it's all cleaned out, try the machine again.
If you can't do this, then you would need to have someone come in and repair the appliance.
A local engineer would charge his call out, labour and parts.
