Ok if you have 7 flashes then you need to check the pressure stat. If you take out the filters from inside the appliance and look into the sump bowl. There you will see a black grid on the right hand side.
What you need to do is pore boiling water into the sump then clean this grid with an old tooth brush. But not to hard as it will damage the membrain.
Once its clear try machine again and see what happens then.

7 flashes is a filling problem.
It can be bad contacts on the conecttor which you said you have cleaned up and the pressure switch which is the black grid. Or a faulty flow meter which is part of the side tank.
As this is clear then theres a good chance it may be the flow meter which is that little pcb board in there.
What else you can check is the wiring as it comes down from the control board and goes down the door loom. Check for breaks in the loom there.
If thats fine then its more then likley going to need a new side tank as the flow meter is part of the tank and will come on a new tank.
