Hi I have an Ikea...

Hi I have an Ikea Whirlpool DWH B10. The problem is that it is not draining. There is water in the hole at the bottom below the filter. Any ideas if i can fix it myself Regards Brian

The water level was above the filter and would spill out the front door till i hand drained it out. Problem is if I turn it on the water is not draining away. No flashing lights

Hiya,

OK, thanks for that.

You'll need to first of all check the drain hose where it attaches to the house drains.

Take the hose off and check both the hose and the connection it goes onto.

If ok, lower the hose as low as possible to drain the water out into a container.

Let me know if the water drains out.

(If it's an integrated appliance you will need to pull it out to repair it).

trying a wash cycle at present. The wife said there was water in the bottom over the filter but not overflowing. I have not taken the hose off the rear as yet.

The first thing it should do on a new programme, is run the drain pump.
