Resolved Question:

Hi I have a Samsung Big Wash Q1433s 7.5 kg. In the display panel it displays (8E) I had an engineer attend yesterday who removed a 5 pence piece from the filter and said that was the problem. I have since done two loads and the fault has returned. Please help!

8E indicates a power fault in the control board on the motor circuit.

Samsung suggest unplugging the machine for around 10 minutes.

If the fault persists you would be looking at a potentially very expensive repair.

The control board, motor or both would most likely need changing.

Their price includes parts and labour.

Try unplugging it, see if it does any more washes.

The coin in the filter should have generated a 5E error if it had jammed the pump.

Hope this is of some help
