my hotpoint df52 dishwashers sits washing in mid cycle and the dial doesn't move to it's next position, if i do it manually it still justs sits there!is it the pump not draining or the motor but it sopunds like it's still washing!it does continue with cycle then stops on prog 5 turned off/on no difference then click dial to next click M/c runs and finishes it's cycle.Answer Summary
Hi If you stop it and start the machine off again will it drain out then?Is the timmer stopping in every position you put it on?For this you need to take the front inspection cover off and locate the heater tags. With a multimeter meter out the heater and do the same with the thermostats which are located near the heater. If any are broken they will need to be replaced.
