Hi Fred, It is minette from...

Hi Fred,

It is minette from Amsterdam again, you know you told me to check my dishwasher (AEG Oko Favorit 60750-VI, the one where the pump kept going and lights flashing.

We took out the water in the bottom underneath the machine and thought it had been fixed but we came back from a few days away and the machine is still not working.

It is still flashing the lights and you can hear the pump working. We only can stop this by pulling out the plug of the socket.

So I look forward to hearing from you.

Hiya,

When you removed the water the last time, did the machine work as it should?

Was it working prior to you going away?

Check for water in the base again.

Hi well we at least got it to stop beeping and the lights stopped flashing when we removed the water.

I switched on the machine with detergent and half way through the cycle it went mad again and started all over with the flashing lights and beeping (indeed 3 beeps).

When I get home I will check the water again if it is in the bottom of the machine, will revert back this evening or tomorrow morning.

Hiya,

You most likely have a leak into the base.

This is why it started working and failed with the same fault during the wash.

Unplug the appliance, take it out.

Remove the top and side panels.

Remove the water from the base.

Watch it working and try and locate the leak.

Once you locate and rectify the leak, the problem should be resolved.

Let me know what you find.
