Can you post the product number of the fridge please. It will be on a sticker behind the salad drawer and will start with a 9. But you need to prefix the number with an A to stop it getting crossed out.
Also is the ice bulid up even or just in 1 place?

Sorry not good news. This fault is a tempurture sensor problem.
But the bad news is the sensor isn't available on your model. Im afraid the sensor on your fridge is foamed in so it cannot be replaced.
What they have done is replaced it by a new control board kit which now controls the fridge instead of the sensor.
So its a case of replacing the control board im afraid.
The best thing to do to get the part is phone AEG direct as there are quite a few different board kits for this modification so give them the product number and they can get you the correct part. There number is XXXXX 611611.
