You have to press the button to select this option.
When you press the stain vanish button does it feel like the other buttons? Clicks ok?
If it does, it would suggest a fault on your appliance.
(I have the Grand O washing machine and I have to select stain vanish).
If you press fast wash, does the stain vanish go off?
If it doesn't, you would appear to have a logic fault with the appliance.
I've checked the user manual and it states that you have to select the options, they aren't a default.
Time for an engineer visit I would think.
