Samsung J1043 - gets error 3E after first washing, stopping

This answer was rated:

Samsung J1043 - gets error 3E after first washing, stopping for 10 mins, washing a couple of turns only and stopping for 10mins again. Machine was recently moved. [email protected]

Does the machine stop full of water?

If you set it to spin or drain, does it empty the water?

Has it worked since it was moved?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.

yes it stops full of water

leave it for a long while, it does some turns, wait turns etc

eventually empties and stops with 3e error

after it stops, set it to spin, then empties and stops no spin

yes it did work until 2 days ago

The 3E indicates a fault in the motor circuit of the appliance.

Unplug the appliance and remove the rear panel.

Check the wiring to the motor plug, check the motor plug and check the motor itself.

In particular, check the carbon brushes in the motor.

If they are worn or broken, replace them.

If stuck, free them off.

Refit the motor, reassemble the appliance and try it again.

If it's still the same you are looking at having to change either the motor or control board, possibly both.

Check the wiring, see what you find.

Hope this helps
