Is your ice maker still new? If it is then we would not think that it could be the ice maker itself.

Icemaker would make ice, due to the following.

First the freezer temperature should be at least -15 C to -21C. The colder the freezer icemaker compartment, the faster it would make ice.

Second would be the temperature of water coming in, again, the colder the water, the faster it would turn into ice. Try to measure or feel the temperature of the water coming into the unit.

Third would be the defrost thermostat of the icemaker itself. This part initiate the harvest cycle. If it will not trigger or if it will take a long time for it to trigger the harvest cycle, then it will take longer time to fill your ice bin. Usually, it will harvet at about -18C or colder. So the tray should reach that temperature. If it is not reaching that temperature, then it will not initiate harvest cycle.

So you have to figure out which part could be the problem why your icemaker is not making so much ice. Normal rate should be one harvest per 30 minutes. Frrezer set to normal range.

Ambient temperature plays a major role too since if the ambient is too high, the freezer would not get -15C, hence will not trigger ice maker.

It would be good to check the condenser coil if it is clean. If it is dirty, it will have an effect on the coldness of the freezer.
