HOTPOINT WMA 50 FRONT LOADER WASHING M/C FAULT Finished wash cycle but excess water in drum and clothes still wet but door unlocked. Tried to re run wash program but washer is dead apart from " extra rinse" button being lit.Answer Summary
Hi If you turn dial to to any programme and try and start a cycle will the door lock?Try press and hold the start button in for servral seconds. Will the extra rinse light go out then?If still doing the same sounds like it could be the control board thats the problem as its not responding to anything.
