Turn the dial to the off position.
Press and hold together the start/pause button and the button to the immediate left of it.
Whilst holding these together, turn the dial 1 click clockwise.
Continue holding the buttons until Diagnostic Test is illuminated in the display.
Let go of the buttons.
Slowly rotate the dial clockwise, pausing for a couple of seconds at each point.
When you get back to off, select a programme then turn back to off.
Select a new programme and try the machine again.
