No lxp600 is listed and pixma isn't a brand name I've come across.

Sorry, no LXP600 listed.

For Prima I have LPR600

How old is the appliance? It may be that it's brand new and not on my Service discs.

When it goes wrong, count the flashes from the start light between pauses and let me know the result

Can you please count the flashes as I asked in my previous request?

Beeping only tells you there is something wrong.

Rest the appliance.

Start a new programme.

When it goes wrong, count the flashes.

Hiya,

When this appliance goes wrong it reverts to the rinse programme light lit and the start light flashes.

This is accompanied by bleeping.

If you are 100% sure there is no flashing then it would suggest the main control board is at fault.

To obtain the correct control board you would require the 12 digit number beginning with 85. This identifies your machine to the parts supplier.

Check www.espares.co.uk for the part.

Click here for an example of the board

This isn't the exact board for your appliance, this is an unprogrammed board for an LPR600 which would require a Whirlpool engineer to fit and programme.

Given the price of Whirlpool parts, I'd suggest getting a quote from www.repaircare.co.uk , this is normally less than the cost of the part.
