My Hoover HNWL 7146 washer...

My Hoover HNWL 7146 washer dryer had problems with draining and none of the functions operating. Just Answer helped resolve the draining and also provided advice on drying out the circuit board which looked damp with condensation to get the wash cycle working again. The machine will now not operate on the dryer cycle (all other wash cycles seem to work fine). Do you have any ideas how to get the dryer functioning.

What happens when you try to use the dryer?

Any flashing lights?

Does the machine do anything on the cycle?

When turning to the dryer cycle the stop light flashes (as is normal). Whenthe start button is pressed the light for less than 15 mins to go flashes on very briefly and then the stop light goes on permanently. Nothing else happens after that.

If the dryer function is selected to start automatically after the wash cycle the machine just stops and the door locked light goes out after about a minute and it is possible to open the door.
