If it's a single flashing light, count the number of flashes between pauses and let me know the result.

Constant flashing doesn't correspond with a leak I'm afraid.
Check again, if it's 2 flashes then it's a leak into the base and tripping the mains will be water getting into electrical parts.
Take the inspection panel off below the door.
Run the appliance and watch to see if water sprays out of a hose near the wash pump motor.
If it does, the hose is burst and you will need to replace the wash motor and pump.
Let me know what you find.
