Make sure the TV is ON. Then, pointing the TV remote control to your TV, press the INPUT or the SOURCE button on the TV remote control, slowly and repeatedly until you see an image on the TV.

Make sure you are using the remote control of the TV for this. Do not use the remote control of the cable box or any other remote control. Please use the TV’s remote control. Then when you see the image or the signal of your satellite box or cable box, start using your box remote.

OK. Are you using the Samsung remote to change the inputs? Do you see the input changing through HDMI-1, HDMI-2, etc?

Did you replace the remote batteries just in case?

OK, make sure the cable box is turned ON. Then using the SAMSUNG remote, press Input several times until you see HDMI-2.
