I have a 9 series 55'. Working well except I am unable activate subtitles when watching regular TV. On settings I have found the button which says

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?

"subtitles on", but none show no matter which channel I try. I realize that some channels may not broadcast subtitles. Bruce Caswell

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

Yes I think so. I'm not at the Tv right now

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this?

You MUST use the Verizon box remote to activate captions. Trying with the TV remote will NOT work. Look for a button on the Verizon remote. If there is no button, go into the SETTINGS menu of the Verizon box and enable captions there.
