Just curious, do you want to connect the TV to internet to get video streaming channels on it?

Thanks for the info, USB LAN adapter is required in this model to connect to wifi but it won't do anything better because this is an old model TV that doesn't have much builtin apps to get video streaming

I would recommend an external video streaming device called Roku

This device has builtin wifi to connect to the internet and has lots builtin apps to get video streaming, all it needs to connect the Roku device to HDMI input of the TV to get Roku home screen then use Roku remote to use it, you would need to make an account with Roku.com to get many free streaming channels and to add premium channels of your choice
