Samsung smart TV won’t...

Samsung smart TV won’t connect to internet after extended power outage. Says network cable not found. Rebooted router. WiFi is ok

Technician's Assistant: Can you guesstimate how old your Samsung is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?

It’s about 3 years old. Not sure of the model. Booklet says series 5500

Technician's Assistant: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

I tried running a network status from the menu. Says no network cable found but there is a cable from the Comcast box to back of tv.

Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then on the actual TV, hold the power button for 60 seconds then release.

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

I went thru the reset and I still have the same error. Says wired connection failed. No network cable found.

Ok, the wifi card has failed in the TV, do you have a network cable to connect to the TV with?

One more question. I just tried a different Samsung tv in another room and it has the same error but it says wireless network instead of wired.
