Where do i find a parts number, serial number or soemthing to tell me which remote I need?

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?

It is an Element, but I don't find anything on the tv to tell me the model

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

I am dumb about electronics..the tv menu does work i think

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue with your Element? What happened right before this?

My remote quit working and I am trying to replace the remote..so far as I know nothing is wrong with tv
