Hi John I have a Panasonic video player but when I play a video the picture is distorted across the bottom, any ideas?

Technician's Assistant: Who makes your media player? How old is it?

Panasonic several years old.

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your Panasonic media player?

I have run a cleaning tape.

If all video tapes are affected in the same way then the problem is with the head.

If running a head cleaning tape a few times does not improve the picture then the head may need to be replaced.

The three references you gave me are for retailers and and not repair services so your information is more than useless, you also took $47 out of my account without my permission, I want it refunded today, sounds like you are running a nice little scam.
