Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?

Sony and it's a older one like maybe 15 years. It says energy star on it

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

The menu works time display but it's slanted

KP-53V90 TV does not have any bulb or lamp, it is an old rear projection TV that utilizes three picture tubes

Unplug it for 30 minutes didn't work. When you pull up menu it looks like it's round

OK, this kind of problem mostly occurs due to the failure of convergence output chips in this TV, there is repair kit available at the following supplier that contains required parts if you're looking to attempt to repair the TV yourself

I'm sorry there is no easy or quick fix for this problem and it is definitely hardware failure that needs defective parts replacement to resolve the issue
