Using Directv. What should the TV settings be?

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?

Samsung 42 inch TV 2010 model

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

TV menue works. What are the settings needed?

Technician's Assistant: The TV Technician will be able to walk you through that. How long has this been an issue with your 42? What happened right before this?

Had a Directv signal failure due to weather. Turned on

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?

Turned on DVD player and woked well. Turned off
