Need help with setting up NETFLIX, Tv says not connected

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?

Tv is a very old RCA

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

I see a menu on the Tv screen when I hit the Netflix button. No other problems

Where are you receiving the netflix app from? Is it directly from the tv menu? or perhaps a bluray with smart apps?

I don't have cable, I use Direct Tv, they won't help me. When I puch the red Netflix button it says check connectivety
