How to I do hot restart on a Sony Bravia TV.

Technician's Assistant: How old is your Bravia?

Not sure. This happened once before. I lost connection to my soundbar and this is what I was told to do to reconnect. I forgot how. This TV is maybe 2 years old not sure.

Technician's Assistant: The TV Technician will be able to walk you through that. Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

Just with the soundbar The connection does not glow red like it should like it is out but the restart got it back last time.

Thank you.
The first thing you would try, is disconnect the set from power, then press and hold the power button on the TV itself (not the remote), for 10 seconds and release. Then plug the set back in, and also check that the power cord is connected tight at the TV as well. Press power once, and see if the set powers up normally. Try this procedure up to 2 times, and please let me know what happens.
