Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

No. Execute Auto Scan First is on screen

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue with your Hitachi? What happened right before this?

Just today. We’ve had snow and cleared all off of dish thing outside and ‘Execute Auto Scan First’ appeared on screen
