My 52" Samsung TV...

My 52" Samsung TV is about 8 years old. The screen is distorted with green vertical lines when I turn it on. After two trays the regular picture comes on without any distortion. Is it worth having a TV Service repair the starter feature? Please advise. Thanks.... Frank

That's the problem, it is a 7-8 yr old 52 inch Insignia and I cannot find the manual anymore. The tv info label on the back of the tv is too small of print for me to read to get the model number. All I know is it is a 51 or 52 inch Insignia that I bought from Best Buy yrs ago. It works great! I am switched to wireless internet and going to use streaming tv with fire stick.
