My Samsung smart tv 6300 will not turn on. the red light blinks fast when remote is activated - but no pictur

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your smart tv?

Samsung LED TV series 6 6300

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

Screen is black. nothing works push power and red light flashes quickly but no picture

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

TV was on and paused through a DVR. then went black and no further action

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Expert to know before I connect you?

I pulled out plug waitged hour and replugged nothing

I only signed up for $5 I just want to know if I should throw tv away or is it a common fix?

OK I can provide info on the problem (you do have a hardware problem)and on how to fix it yourself, with advice on costs both to do yourself and also for a technician and advice on repair\replace situation if necesary?
