I have a Sony 4K TV and would like to know how to reduce the background music when I watch a program. I am unable to hear the dialog.

Sony 4K, 4 months old, Model XBR-55X900E,

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

Ever since I bought it. I have bought a Bose sound bar and still not able to adjust the background music when I watch a TV program.

Set the “Sound Mode “option under Sound settings to “Clear Voice”.

This will lower the background sound and makes the voice clear.

Instructions to change this option:
Press HOME> Settings> SOUND>Sound Adjustments>Sound Mode>Clear voice.
