I've lost my cable...

I've lost my cable TV connection (ATT). I was using ROKU, then tried to switch back to TV channels by using the source button on my Samsung remote. It always worked before. But now instead of my cable connection, I get a black screen with a red X on it and below that the number 8. It's rather spooky. Can you help?--Mike

Technician's Assistant: What's the exact make and model of your television? And how long has this been happening with the channels?

Not sure. It's one of the earliest Samsung Smart flat screen TVs. This happened for the first time last night.

Technician's Assistant: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?

I can switch from one source to the other. Netflix and ROKU work. I don't get a menu.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
