Facing TV Problems? Ask a TV Technician.
I'm reviewing your details and will reply shortly.
Can you please get me the full model number off of the back of the Mitsubishi?
Also, which model Roku do you have?
Okay thanks- taking a look now.
Can you shut the TV off and try one of the other HDMI Inputs as a test, then turn it back on, SELECT that input and see if you have sound please?
Does the TV have sound with any other devices if you plug something in using HDMI (like a cable box, blu ray player, etc.)?
Okay, did you turn the TV's speakers back ON in the menu after you disconnected the receiver?
Using the Mitsubishi remote, go into MENU-----> the SOUND---->then turn TV Speakers ON.
Okay our replies crossed. Please plug something else into the TV besides the Roku like the cable box and let me know if the sound is on. We need to determine if the issue is the TV or the Roku.
Can you see my next reply??
Then the issue is the Roku. Possibly a defective unit, and on a user level all you can try is to unplug the Roku power cord for 30 full seconds, plug it back in and then attempt to use the Roku input again. If the device still does not have sound then it would indicate an issue with the Roku. How long have you owned the unit for?
Excellent and glad to hear that! Let me know if you need further assistance. Also, before you go, could you please click a POSITIVE RATING (by scrolling all of the way to the top of the page, and clicking 3-5 stars), so that I am credited for working with you today?
