My Pioneer Elite, approximately 12 years old, just, in l
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Pioneer is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: My Pioneer Elite, approximately 10 to 12 years old, just, in the last 30 minutes, developed a dark strip across the top 20 percent of the screen. This has never ocurred in the past. It is dark enough that text cannot be read through it.
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: The tv menu works. We have turned off the television, changed channels, watch recorded programs and watch Netflix. The problem is consistent.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It just occurred
JA: Anything else you want the Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I was changing between Netflix and regular television.
