Are you able to provide more details that "a buzz"?

Is it coming from the SPEAKERS? or from the back of the tv?

If you un-hook all the hdmi/audio/video cables from the tv, is the buzz still there?

No nothing like that! Just follow instructions pretty good.I guess its more than what I can do.

Then there are secret menu adjustments with the original Samsung remote to make final adjustments. If that's more than you can handle, I do suggest using a local repair shop, but repairs will be almost as much as a new 50" tv and more things can and will go wrong with your tv due to it's age.

I know this is bad news and very upsetting but please understand I am here to provide an honest answer.
