JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: Where do I find the model number. about a year
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: yes and yes
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Just seemed to happen yesterday. haven't changed anything

The reason why this happens is because of a conflict between the TV and any satellite or cable box you may be using,please initially reboot both by unplugging both from wall-power wait 5 mins then replug back in again,let me know if there is any change
