Facing TV Problems? Ask a TV Technician.
I'm reviewing your details and will reply shortly.
What is connected to the TV that you receive broadcasts from, is there a cable box of some sort? Also who is your cable provider?
Please view my reply and send one back to proceed.
You didn't even reply back with what was asked. Don't assume you know the agenda please. Is there a cable BOX specifically on this TV- yes or no please?
In other words, BOX or direct cable from wall- no box? Let me know.
Please unplug the Cable/SAT box from power and shut the TV off.
Disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable between them on both ends- making sure it is secure.
Plug the Cable/SAT box back into AC and once it's rebooted turn the TV on, and use the INPUT button on the original TV remote to select the correct HDMI Input.
Let me know what happens.
Hi, my name is Rusty. I built cable systems, and we're no longer able to plug the wall directly into our TV, unless there is a special cable TV system in place, usually only found in hotels. You'll need to contact your cable provider to get another box, as it's the box that changes channels, not the TV anymore. Your TV will need to be on channel 3 to receive signals from the box, and the box will be your channel control.
To hook it up, plug the box into the wall, then the box into your TV, and that's it.
